For pets that go home and are not fully vetted, SWAT reserves the right to reclaim any animal that is not vetted within the agreed upon timeframe. SWAT reserves the right to reclaim any animal that is deemed "at risk" but law enforcement may reclaim any animal that's owner is in violation of the Adoption Agreement. For Cats: SWAT does not allow our cats/kittens to be declawed. If you are planning to declaw, please talk with a SWAT volunteer for other options. If for ANY reason, you find it necessary to rehome your pet, we request you contact SWAT before giving away/selling your pet to someone else.
