Cowboy here. It seems like I've been at the shelter FOREVER! I've had my story written, just waiting for someone to ask for it. I was picked up as a dump in Pryor. A citizen brought me to the shelter because I was running after cars looking for my family...they aren't coming. When I got here I was really scared but it's kind of become my life. I don't like it but at least I'm warm and fed. I  am a high energy Red Heeler mix (the fancy name is Australian Cattle Dog if you want to read about me). The best time of the day is when they take me out to walk me or better yet, let me run around in the outdoor pen...I love it outside. I'm still young and not a big guy; I've tried to get someone to weigh me but it's not happening...so let me take a guess...35 pounds? I may be off by a bit so I think it's best that you come to the shelter and ask to visit with me. I can tell you the rest of my story and you can see if I am exactly what you're looking for in a new family member. ~ Cowboy
