Hey, Pogo here and here's the Pogo story. First, that's my name because I hop instead of run. SWAT thought it was cute so they named me Pogo. What they found out later is I run like that because I am partially blind. It's inherited. The vet said it may stay the same, it may get worse. I can smell my why ANYWHERE. We go on long walks and I just follow the scent. So far, so good. I'm about a year old now and I've lived with SWAT since I was a pup. They knew something was a little off and now we know. I am a min-pin/dachshund/beagle/chihuahua and maybe other stuff mix. I came from a home in Locust Grove. Our person died and the man person put us outside and didn't have much to do with us. Because I was just a puppy, I had very little human interaction. It took me a while to warm up and I still prefer going to my human instead of my human coming to me. I am house trained, neutered and up to date on shots. My foster thought they may just keep me but I'm pretty good at sniffing out the chickens and I'm a quick little dude. Not cool from what I understand. Anyway, I'm looking for another home. I love to play with the other dogs, Nancy is a big girl, she's my favorite playmate but I like them all. I don't mind the cat, I shy away from kids but I'm not nipping or barky. I like to curl up in bed with my foster mom or with Nancy. I'm a snuggler when I get to know you. My adoption fee is only $25 for the right family. If you are interested in meeting me, put my name right here and I'll have my people call your people.
