Cain and his brother Abel came from a harsh beginning.  They were thrown out as puppies, picked up by a family that abused them, beat up by other dogs and locked in a barn.  SWAT had to go to court to retrieve them.  From there, they went to an animal shelter where they spent the next 2 months learning to trust people again.  They were picked up to participate in the Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center training program.  They have spent the last 12 weeks with their prisoner/trainer.  It's amazing to see how these pups have flourished.  They are socialized, loving, trained dogs.  They get along with other dogs (but not each other).  Either of them will make a wonderful companion animal.  They will graduate on 12/17 and be forced to go back to the pound until they are adopted.  We are all hoping for a Christmas miracle for these two precious pups.
