My name is Odessa but my friends that can talk call me Dessie. You can see by my head that I'm definitely Beagle but what you can't see is my fancy legs and all the spots. I told SWAT I was a Beeler and they went with it. I'm young, about two years old and weigh about 35 lbs. I was taken out of a house and away from my owners by a police officer. I was mad about it at first but now that I'm with my foster mom, I can see he was doing me a big favor. I got the okay to start l ooking for my new family. I'm a little bit quirky. I either WAY love you or you scare me and I'll growl at you. I can't tell my SWAT humans why. I'm house trained, walk well on a leash and I havee some basic manners..you know the usual, sit, lay down kind of stuff. Training is easy because I'm really smart. I love laying in bed with my foster mom and watching the 10:00 news. I like hanging with the other dogs. I met one cat at my foster house. I was going in for the chase until he put on the brakes and yelled "BACK OFF mutt!" Rude; I do like to chase them, IF they will run. I kind of have a wonky eye but my vet said it's just part of my charm. I am just a bit territorial and like to be the boss. For that reason, I think I would do better in a home with no small children. If you've been looking for "the one" I may just be it. We can see for sure if you fill out an app with my name on it.
