I'm Alfalfa because...well, look at the spike on my head. That and no one knows my real name since Mom Person went away. I was left at the shelter about a year ago when my person decided he didn't want me around anymore. Someone came and fell in love with my adorable self and took me home. She brought me home to a ranch with livestock, other dogs, lots of room to run and I finally had a person who adored me. Fast forward a year, she went to sleep and never woke up. That left me and my little Dachshund brother alone in the home. Neighbors came by to feed us everyday, but I always watched out for Mom Person to walk through the door. It never happened. Instead, SWAT stepped in and found foster families for us. My little Dachshund brother got adopted quickly so that just leaves me. I'm housebroken, I am so smart I know all of my basic manners, I don't chew much, I love other dogs and kids. I haven't met a cat yet. I'm a little over a year old, neutered and ready to find a new home and call it forever this time.
