They call me Zora, the wonder dog (I added that last part). I came to SWAT last week after being on my own, more or less, since I was born last spring. My mama belonged to someone that didn't care enough about her to get her spayed and then didn't care enough about me to pick me up when he knew I had been abandoned. All of us babies were given away "free to good home." My good home didn't take  care of me and dumped me back out at the Cement plant. I hung out there for awhile waiting for someone, ANYONE to give me a home. Finally, a nice guy took me home but they already had a lot of dogs and couldn't keep me so they called SWAT and here I am!
I am in a foster home now. They have kids that I LOVE to snuggle on the couch. They also have another bigger dog that is my buddy. I am having to learn some basic manners because no one has every cared enough to teach me until now. My foster mom says I'm very intuitive. I'm not sure what that means but I do know if someone is happy, I'm happy with them and if they are sad, I'm really good at helping them be happy again. You can probably tell, I'm a heeler mix with maybe a little Beagle mixed in. I weigh about 25 lbs and will probably get a little bigger, but not too much. I am looking for a home to call my own. I would love to change my last name to Forever!
