Doggo here, making my debut! So, here's the scoop: I'm about 2 years old and weigh in at big boy status. I love everyone I meet...even little people and other dogs. Cats? dunno, can't say as I've met one but, yeah, probably those too. I am house trained, crate trained (no need to close the door, it's my safe place and sleeping quarters...I like it in there and will stay all night) I have basic manners, you know, the "sit" and "wait" stuff. The nice lady that found me (oh, we'll get to that) took me to a Doggo doctor. I received all vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick prevention and the vet gave me a clean bill of health. Oh and even smarter now than before because I got tutored. My friend was surpized that I didn't get upset being at the vet..acutally I kind of liked all that attention (and the nap). So I just wagged my tail the whole time. I thought one of the pretty nurses was going to scoop me up and take me home...but no. A little more about me, I like to hang outside in the backyard (and on the couch
:)
) I don't jump fences, dig, chew, bark when there's no reason. I like taking showers and curling up on the foot of the bed..I'm not a cover hog.
So, now you're thinking...uh huh, if he's such a great guy, what's he doing here? Well, I was found in the middle of the road in Tulsa. Cars were buzzing past me but one car stopped and opened the door. Yep, I jumped in and she was like...awesome, another mouth to feed. But she took me home, cleaned me up is taking good care but there are just too many of us here to take care of so I told her I would start looking for my new home and I heard SWAT was the place to do it.
There, that's the rest of the story. If you'd like to meet me, love me and take me home, fill out an application at https://savingwhiskersandtails.rescuegroups.org/forms/ and then give Lauryn a call at 918-760-7250...it's just that easy!
