Yoshi, the fullblood Akita, checking in from "Looking for Foreversville." So, here's the scoop, I was a breeder dog that apparently didn't "perform" for my owner. She pawned me off and I made it to a home where I'm cared for but they don't really want me. I am still recovering from my last litter, that died so I only weigh 50 lbs...but I'll be a bit bigger. I'm great with male dogs, don't know  about female, never really been around one, you see, I spent much of my two years in a kennel, making little Akitas. I've been around kids, ages 6 and up..love 'em. Oh, what about cats you're thinking...love them too, with a little salt and preferable fried in coconut oil. NO cats if you love them differently than I do. I have not been on heartworm meds but SWAT will have me tested if you're interested in adopting me. I am house trained and like my kennel time. I'm learning not to jump up but I'm just trying to get some hugs...hugs are important. 
Here's the last thing I want to say...Oklahoma summers are hard on dogs like me...so if you're interested in making me part of your family, know that I will have to be brushed regularly if I stay in OK..and I will need a place out of the heat during the day...SWAT says so. I have papers but I will be spayed before going to my new home...that puppy business just isn't for me. My adoption fee is $65...that pays for EVERYTHING including a lifelong companion.
