Have you ever seen a 75lb Teddy Bear before? Well, now you have. My name is Adonis. This isn’t my first time at the shelter. I’m called an escape artist…whatever that means. At my last home, I was kept outside all the time; sometimes I was attached to a chain and other times I wasn’t. When I wasn’t on the other end of a chain, I got bored and would find my own fun. The rickety chain link couldn’t keep me in…I just barreled right through it all the time. I never went too far from home. I mostly squeezed my way into neighbor’s yards to play with their dogs. One time I even tried to follow a tiny dog into her house via dog door. Of course, the dog door was the size of my head so I could never really get in. I quickly found out I wasn’t really invited when the human on the other side spooked seeing my big ole’ head stuck in the dog door. Hey, I thought I was invited…humans should really make those doors larger for us bigger guys. Anyway, I’d leave and hop in to the next yard to play with someone else. After being picked up a few times, my owners thought it’d be best for me to find another family…one that has time for me and won’t leave me outside by myself all the time. Here’s the deal; I’m just a year old, I have a squishy face to match the English Bulldog in me and the body of a Boxer (or football player, take your pick), I love to play with other dogs, the jury is out on cats, I’m leash trained, I love playing with toys and I really enjoy swimming on a hot summer day.  Looking for a squishy faced, handsome guy??
