I'm a trooper....I've been through a lot in my 10 months of life and live to tell the tale. It's how I got my name, Trooper. Before I came to SWAT, I lived in a yard all by myself, attached to a long chain. My human put me there months before and left me there, alone. I never did anything, I never saw people, I never went anywhere and I was never fed. I was so hungry and I was so starved for human attention that I cried and cried until someone finally heard me. That was the best day of my life, I was saved! My chain was cut and I came to live with SWAT. The first thing I got was a meal and a bath. The bath part wasn't that much fun, but at least I'm clean now. I have learned that going on walks with my foster human is the best time of the day. I walk right beside her and never pull or lag behind. Even though I was almost starved, I wait patiently for my meals. I think it's rude to just jump in and grab it all without permission. My foster human keeps trying to play "fetch" with me, but I don't get it. Watching her toss it and running to get it is pretty entertaining though. I run right beside her and wait for her to throw it so we can run to the ball again. I don't like to leave my person's side. If you're looking for a loyal best friend, please give me a call. I'm ready to find my new family.
