So, here's a SWAT deal that you may or may not know...they start at the beginning of the year with A names...then B...and now we are to C. So, when I came to them, my name was Joe. They wanted it to start with a C which left Cu-Joe and that's just not me. They decided to let me stick with Joe and so, that's who I am! Let's get the stats out of the way; I am about 2, thanks to the SWAT folks, I am neutered and up to date on shots. I am COMPLETELY house trained, love being a couch potato for the first time in my life. I don't chew or beg or do any of those annoying puppy things. I am a little timid at first; when they hold their hand out with a treat, I'm not sure if they are going to feed me or hit me so I just sit back and try to mind my own business. You see, my last family was NOT nice to me. As a matter of fact, they were creepy people. They moved off and left me and a puppy that is called "feral" but a volunteer is working with her. We were starving and I had to protect not only myself but my friend. A wild hog came wandering up and got us both but Dr. Hammer stitched us up and we are doing really well. I am VERY people friendly. I love everyone, big and small. I am learning to love the cat, don't mind the chickens but here's the thing...there are a LOT of dogs here. Most times I get along with them just fine...I even like playing and romping with them. BUT, if they growl at me, I don't much like it and I have gotten into a spat or two because of it. It might be best if I were an only dog or could be supervised until I knew the other dogs weren't going to hurt me. If you think I might be a match for your family...and you have a couch, please give SWAT a call...I'm what they call ADORABLE
