My names Betty, well, at least that's my latest name. I am having a really difficult time finding forever...but SWAT assures me it's out there, and right around the corner! I hope they know what they're talking about. Let me start at the beginning. I was a puppy, I had a family. They didn't keep me up and I wandered off. The shelter picked me up and I spent a few months in lock up; my name w as Ruby then. I was adopted to a new family. They kept me for a couple of years but now they can't keep me any more and they didn't make plans for a place for me to go, well, except back to the shelter..so here I am again. I am only a little over 4 years old, full...I mean FULL of love and snuggles. LMJ says I'm the best hugger in the whole world! I am calm, I have very good manners, I don't jump, chew, dig...you know, puppy stuff. I get along with everyone and everything. I'm a Redbone Coonhound mix so I am a bit chatty sometimes. I weigh about 50 lbs.;just right! I would do well with a couple, a single active person, other dogs, kids...shoot, I'd even like a family with a cat. Please don't make me sit here long. I have a lot of living to do and I don't want to waste it in this cage! ~ Betty
