FINALLY, I have my glamour shots! I'm Piper Husky, from Siberia. Here's my story...so far. I was born, given away, not taken care of, put on Craigslist, given away again to a goober that thought he could turn a quick buck. He posted me (with ugly pictures btw) and didn't...turn a quick buck; so he dumped me. Yes, he DUMPED ME!   SWAT picked me up and sent me to a foster home, they brought me back, I was readopted and he decided that I was too "active" for his lifestyle...hey ex-dad, dude...I'M A HUSKY! I thought you noticed that. Okay, so you can see how gorgeous I am; let me tell you how smart: I am potty trained, can sit, shake, lay down, walk on a leash.

NOTE FROM FOSTER MOM: She is a terrific little dog. She is well mannered in the house, she doesn't chew or have accidents. She uses the doggy door, has no food or toy aggression, loves kids and has learned to like the cat. You can tell she's been "hit" because she ducks if you lift your hand too quickly but that hasn't stopped her from being friendly. She wants to be clo se and wants her human to love her and is willing to do just about anything to make that happen. She is smart and clever making her a bit of a challenge but we know someone out there is up for it. She IS a fence jumper but she will only jump to get back to us. She has never offered to go anywhere when we were here with her, including off lead in the front yard; she comes right back when called. She was a little nervous around the big dogs when she first got here but now is best friends with any of them that will not snap at her (they're old and she's a puppy, remember). She would be a perfect dog for an active family with maybe a kid or two or another dog to keep her company. A stay at home mom or dad would be perfect. She really is an adorable little girl that deserves to find her family. If you're interested in meeting her, give us a call (918) 605-6516.
