My new friends at SWAT gave me a new name when they brought me here. It's Sophie. I had an old name and an old family but I guess I got bigger than they expected so they didn't want me anymore. I know, a lot of us have that story but we learn here that it doesn't say anything about us and everything about the people that threw us away. I know I'm going to find my forever soon. I am a Lab/Grea t Pyr mix. Although I'm still pretty skinny, I'm young and not done growing. I'm starting to pack on the pounds and if I grow into my feet, I' going to be one big girl. I am very sweet; get along with ALL the other dogs (even that pesky ShyAnne who wants to ride on my back and takes away my toys). I like the cats okay (one more than the other but really, from up here, a cat is a cat). I don't chase the chickens. I do need to learn some words in English. My last family didn't spend much time with me, but I'm smart and willing to learn. I AM house trained and I'm as comfortable outside as I am in my snuggly bed inside...In my perfect world, I would get to be both. I know how to use a doggy door and I'm learning to walk on a leash. I'll make a good watch dog because I don't yap but I do bark a MEAN bark when strangers come up to the house. With a little TLC and training, SWAT says I'm going to be someone's BEST DOG EVER.
