Baxter's the name, snuggling's the game.
My new friend Susan saw me walking down I35 in the City. I'm not really a city dog but found myself there, lost, missing meals and not all that happy about it. So, when I saw a car circle around, slow down, open the door....WOO-HOO! I jumped in and off we went, headed north to God's country! They took me to the vet so now I am up to date on my shots and tested heart worm negative...and I have a microchip. Oh no! I forgot about tha t. So my first family adopted me from a shelter when I was about 4 months old (there, they took care of my interest in girls). When one of my dads died, the other one gave me away to some folks that weren't really into me, didn't take care of me...so I left to find forever.
I"ve forgotten a lot but when Susan talked with my first family she found out that I'm a little under 2 years old, Border Collie mix, housebroken, love other dogs all people and tennis balls; ooooo, I love tennis balls!
Did I mention I'm a really big guy? I weigh about 70 pounds and I'm 28” at the shoulder. I'm a big, lovable, goofy mutt (of the most handsome variety) who does well outside and in. I am big enough to scare off strangers and sweet enough to babysit the kids.
So, let me wind this up by saying, if you have love and snuggles that you are willing to give away, and tennis balls, lots of tennis balls, I am probably your guy. You can call SWAT at (918) 605-6516 or my foster mom Susan at (918) 864-3678 to meet me. My adoption fee is only $35.00 That's about $.50 per pound
