Why the sad fish face? Well, I thought I was home but after 5 months of being a part of my family, apparently I was the only one that thought so. No worries, I'm young, very smart, very sweet and I've heard that sometimes you have to try, try again. Here I am, trying again. I'm SuziQ and I'm here to find my Forever!
Here's what I know about me. I'm a bit opportunistic...if you give me a chance to run the show, I'm going to take it. That being said, I probably need a little discipline in my life. My family said I wasn't house trained when I arrived. I tried to tell them that I had never been in a house before. Now I get it, no pottying in the house. It wasn't my favorite thing to do either. Next up...I chase the cat; not all the time, just when it runs by me doing that na-na-na-na thing. Oh, yeah, I'm going to take the bait. Never caught it and don't really want to. The fun is in the chase. I have learned to walk on a leash, I don't like car rides. I've learned, because I'm a big girl, it's not okay to jump on people. However, putting my nose in their <you know, private parts> and giving a little push is still a lot of fun...working on it! I also like to walk in front of you and sometimes that's a problem. Who knew? SWAT said that they would help with the training so I can be someone's best dog ever! I love kids but I can be a bit rough...again, a little training will go a long way and SWAT is willing to help. My current family didn't ask. I am not a fence jumper; I'll stay put but you really need to give me a job or something to do. I'm still a puppy and puppies will make their own fun. Because of my floppy ears, I get a little yeasty sometimes. My family was treating me for ear mites...nope, not the problem. Again, a quick call to SWAT would have probably helped me and my family figure it out. SWAT will provide my new family with the "quick fix." I know some basic commands and would like to learn more. It freaks me out when I get in trouble and have no idea what I did wrong.
Teach me, I WILL learn. So to wrap it up and give you the stats: I am a hound mix. I was dumped by my first family. My foster family didn't have a lot of time to spend with me, my new family expected more than I was able to give...but I tried, I really tried. I'm about 55 lbs., just over a year old. I think I would love the country life and room to be me. I don't have an aggressive bone but I do have a lot of playful ones. If you'd like a partner to hang out with and you're willing to spend sometime teaching me the house rules, you can meet me by filling out this little form with my name on it...remember, SuziQ. You mess that up and you're liable to meet a little yappy dog Let me leave you with a little CCR; I'll be true and never leave you blue ~ SuziQ
