Princess Lyra checking in as SWAT's POW. I'm coming to you from Northeast Ok Correctional Center. As soon as they parole me, I'll be making my home back at the Chouteau Pound until I find a family to love. If that's possibly you, let me tell you what comes with the package! We'll start with what's on my prison record then move to the good stuff. I'm a Lab/Pit mix (I'm told the perfect combination of smart, loyal and a trustworthy friend; yep). I'm about 18 months old, weigh in at 70 lbs. (Don't kid yourself, that prison food ain't half bad). I was originally picked up and thrown in the slammer in Chouteau last December. I stayed there until they moved me to the "Big House" where I served out my time. My crime, a puppy given to the wrong family. I have been here for almost 12 weeks. I have my own guy that I've trained and he's doing fantastic and he's taught me a few things also...like don't do your business inside, walk on a leash like the guy on the other end is your very best friend (and right now, he is!). We both know our "basic commands" and in my spare time, I taught him the obstacle course. He's not as good as me but he does okay. My parole hearing is Sept. 10th. If I have a home by then, I'll be leaving here and going straight home...and in my humble opinion, my new family will score the BEST DOG EVER! Just ask my trainer.
