After spending a few years living off of garbage in a neighborhood and being shooed off of every porch, I am finally safe and ready to find a family of my very own. I'm Marie. I used to belong to a family when I was a baby, but they kicked me out and never let me back in. They never got me spayed either. At the beginning of this summer, I found a new home to hide under and have more babies. This place was nicer. The people actually gave me food and water. My kittens didn't w ant any part of the human interaction, but I craved it. After a month of living under that house, I was taken to SWAT. Shortly after that, my kittens joined me. They have since moved into a "foster home" to be socialized...whatever that means. I'm still with SWAT soaking up the attention of every human who will give it to me. I am now spayed...no more kittens for me. I love to be petted, brushed and snuggled with. I missed being an indoor cat. SWAT promises that's the way it will be from now on. I don't have to worry about living outside, starving, being attacked by other animals or taking care of any more kittens. They promised me a home where lots of love will be given...and food.
