I'm Bernie Joy, but you can just call me Bernie. I was a "courtesy listing" on SWAT's page for awhile. My previous owner didn't want me...he had nothing to do with me. So, things became urgent, SWAT made room and here I am. My owner left me at the "vet" and I went to sleep for awhile. A SWAT human picked me up and brought me home. I was so groggy and I didn't want to walk so the human picked me up and carried me. She says I'm around 40lbs, but I may be heavier since she carried me, the lead weight, a long ways before she put me in bed. Now I'm in a foster home. I am much happier than I was. I'm getting lots of attention, I have other dogs to play with and a little girl to keep busy. The vet person told me I'm a 1-2 year old Aussie/Heeler mix. She called me smart and a quick learner just in the short time she spent with me. My foster mom calls me sweet and cuddly. If you're looking for a pup like me, let SWAT know. I am spayed, up to date on shots and ready for forever!
