My kennel card says, "Arrival Reason: UNWANTED." It also says my name is Shadow, 3 months old, Aussie and 10-20lbs. They left off the part about me being strikingly handsome. That's okay, I added it for you. I came to the shelter as a stray, stayed the five day "hold" period and got adopted. Nice, right? Well, I came back a day or two later. I'm an "unwanted" puppy. They brought me back because I'm a puppy. Sorry, I can't do much about that. Only time and patience will turn me into a great dog. I have some Aussie in me so that means I'm pretty smart. I also don't have the long tail like most dogs around here. It's a tiny stub that wiggles uncontrollably sometimes. I try to chase it, but I can't reach it. Maybe some day I'll get that tail. Anyway, I'm looking for a family with kids, other dogs and time for the puppy energy I have. If you think you're it, give me a call. We can mark the "unwanted" part of my card out together.
