You probably remember seeing my face before. Yes, I was that missing SWAT dog...I was gone for a week before I was caught. I'm Bentley. Before I came to SWAT, I was living with a family who's dogs didn't like me, period. They were always so mean to me and no one could do a thing about it and I had had enough so they asked SWAT for help. The day I arrived here was the day my whole world flipped upside down. My family loaded me up and dropped me off at the vet, where I was give n a shot (ow) and then I went to sleep. When I woke up, I was in pain, in a new place, scared to death and I didn't know a single person there. SWAT took me home that afternoon, after my "neuter," and that's the night I took off when no one was looking. I was so afraid and confused at the time, I didn't know where I was going. I just wanted to find what I was familiar with. I was gone a week before I was found. I came back just in time for Turkey Day. After getting to know everyone around here, I don't ever want to escape again. Food comes regularly around here...I learned that doesn't happen when you're on your own. The humans around here say I am a REALLY good boy. I get along wonderfully with everyone; cats, dogs, chickens, kids...you name it. That said, I am shy so it takes me a little bit to warm up to new people, but when I do, you're stuck with me. I love to be close and I love to cuddle with my humans. I have never had an accident in the house before, though I am allowed outside regularly. I'm not that big...I may weigh 20lbs at the most. I'm very smart. I'm just a really good guy and SWAT can vouch for me. I may be the favorite or really close to it. ;) Fill out an application if you're interested in me.
