I knew I got too comfortable in my last home. I’m Ruby. My previous family got me when I was a lot smaller than I am now. They taught me everything I know like how to potty outdoors, how to sit, how to walk politely on a leash and how to stay on all four feet when I get excited…no one likes a big dog jumping on them. They also told me that I’m a lab/Redbone mix, not too big…only 40lbs. After teac hing me all of that great stuff, we started planning for my first birthday, which is in one more month. The party planning ended when my family loaded me into the car and brought me to the shelter. I just don’t understand humans; I thought we were all one big happy family. Guess not…time to move on to another family that will hopefully love me and keep me forever and ever. Maybe even celebrate my first birthday with cake and ice cream. Please don’t let me spend it here, I don’t like it here.
